Interest and Availability

Some roles of community data ambassadors include creating agendas and facilitating virtual monthly workgroup meetings, supporting community outreach and partnership, and holding discussions and reflections on ways that data and technology can support systems change including food justice, transportation equity, and housing.

Alongside resident champions and organizational partners in the data workgroup, ambassadors will co-create data tools such as interactive maps, mobile applications, and information sharing technology that advance social change.

Ambassadors are expected to spend ~5 hours supporting the workgroup per month from April through September, including attending a monthly internal planning meeting, communicating with other workgroup members around data projects, and facilitating an hour-long monthly workgroup session.

Several of our community partners invite the data workgroup to attend in-person events and symposiums. Would you be able to attend and represent the data workgroup at these in-person partner events roughly once every 6 weeks in the spring and summer (optional)?
